refund policy

1. merchant of record

All subscription purchases for Vor Ritual are transacted through Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), which acts as the Merchant of Record for all sales. This means Paddle is the seller of record on your transaction — your payment is processed by Paddle, and Paddle issues your receipt and invoice.

As Merchant of Record, Paddle is responsible for billing, tax collection and remittance, and payment dispute resolution. For questions about a specific charge on your billing statement, payment disputes, or chargebacks, Paddle should be contacted directly at their buyer support portal: paddle.com/support.

2. subscription billing

Vor Ritual subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis — monthly or annually, depending on the plan you selected at signup. Billing is automatic and renews on the same calendar date each cycle unless you cancel in advance.

You are responsible for canceling your subscription before the renewal date if you do not wish to be charged for a future billing period.

3. refund eligibility

3.1 new subscriptions — 7-day satisfaction window

If you are a new subscriber and are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase. This applies to your first billing transaction only.

To request a refund under this policy, contact us at skaldcorp@gmail.com within the 7-day window with the subject line "Refund Request" and include the email address associated with your account and your transaction date. We will process eligible refunds within 5–10 business days.

3.2 renewal charges

As a general rule, we do not issue refunds for subscription renewal charges after the renewal date has passed. If you did not intend to renew, you should cancel your subscription before your renewal date. Your subscription dashboard displays your next renewal date.

Exceptions may be considered at our discretion for documented technical errors that prevented access to cancellation or where a renewal occurred contrary to a timely cancellation request. Please contact us within 7 days of an unexpected charge.

3.3 annual subscriptions — pro-rated cancellations

Annual subscriptions may be eligible for a partial refund of unused time under the following conditions:

Eligible partial refunds are calculated as the annual subscription price divided by 12, multiplied by the number of complete unused calendar months remaining on your annual term. Partial months are not credited.

To request a partial refund on an annual plan, contact skaldcorp@gmail.com with your account email and transaction reference.

3.4 digital content delivery

Because Vor Ritual is a digital software subscription that delivers AI-generated content on demand, subscriptions provide immediate access to digital services upon activation. Refunds are not available for usage already consumed. Our 7-day new subscriber window is a voluntary accommodation and does not constitute acknowledgment of a statutory right to withdraw in jurisdictions where such rights do not apply to digital services already in use.

4. european union and united kingdom users

If you are a consumer located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) of 14 days from your subscription purchase date.

However, by subscribing to Vor Ritual and accessing the Service immediately upon purchase, you expressly request that performance of the Service begin before the withdrawal period expires, and you acknowledge that you may lose your right of withdrawal once performance has begun, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive and equivalent UK provisions.

If you have not accessed any feature of the Service during the withdrawal period, you may still exercise your full right of withdrawal. Contact us at skaldcorp@gmail.com to exercise this right.

5. payment disputes and chargebacks

If you believe a charge is unauthorized or erroneous, please contact us at skaldcorp@gmail.com before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider. We are typically able to resolve billing concerns more quickly than the formal dispute process.

Because Paddle is our Merchant of Record, formal payment disputes and chargebacks are handled by Paddle through their dispute resolution procedures. Paddle may contact you directly if a dispute is opened. Initiating a chargeback while a refund request is under review may delay resolution.

6. non-refundable circumstances

Refunds will not be issued for requests submitted outside the eligible windows described above; accounts suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service; claims based solely on dissatisfaction with AI-generated content, which is inherently variable and subjective in nature; partial refunds on monthly billing cycles; or duplicate account refunds (one refund per customer per account lifetime).

7. how to request a refund

Contact us at skaldcorp@gmail.com with the email address associated with your Vor Ritual account, your transaction date or Paddle transaction reference number (available in your receipt email), and a brief description of your request.

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and advise you of eligibility. Approved refunds are processed through Paddle and typically appear on your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
